On the website: www.cani-ninja.com
Effective date: 12/10/2026
1. Purpose
These general terms of sale (the "Terms of Sale") apply, without restriction or reservation, to all online sales made by CANI GOURMAND (the "Company") under the CANI NINJA brand on the website www.cani-ninja.com (the "Site") to consumer buyers (the "Buyer").
Their purpose is to define the terms of sale and delivery of the products offered (the "Products"), as well as the rights and obligations of the parties.
These Terms of Sale prevail over any other general or specific terms not expressly accepted by the Company.
2. Seller's identity and contact details
The Site is operated by:
Company: CANI GOURMAND
Legal form: SAS
RCS: 883065914
Registered office: 3 Impasse de l'Artisanat – ZI La Borie – 24110 Saint-Astier (France)
Phone: +33 6 29 82 56 53

The person responsible for the publication of the Site is Ms Aurélie Dedieu, President of CANI GOURMAND.
3. Legal capacity and acceptance of the Terms of Sale
3.1 Capacity: The Site is accessible to any natural person with full legal capacity, or to any legal entity through a representative with the required capacity.
3.2 Acceptance: The Buyer confirms full acceptance of the Terms of Sale by ticking the box provided for this purpose when confirming the order. Any contrary condition put forward by the Buyer is not enforceable against the Company.
4. Registration on the Site
4.1 Registration before purchase: Before buying a Product, the Buyer may complete a registration form and must provide all mandatory information. Registration creates an account ("Personal Area") for managing orders.
The Buyer guarantees that the information provided is accurate, up to date and truthful, and undertakes to update it if it changes.
4.2 Purchase without registration: The Buyer may also place an order without registering first. In this case, no account is created and the order history is not accessible.
5. Product characteristics
Before ordering, the Buyer can view the essential characteristics of the Products on the Site (description, price, photos). These descriptions are as accurate as possible, but minor differences (size, colour, texture) may exist due to technical constraints.
6. Order
6.1 Placing an order: The Buyer selects a Product, adds it to the cart, checks the information and confirms the order. The Buyer must provide billing and delivery details. Incomplete orders cannot be confirmed.
6.2 Confirmation: After confirmation, the Buyer receives a confirmation email containing:
a summary of the order;
the Terms of Sale applicable on the date of the order;
the corresponding invoice.
The confirmation is deemed received by the Buyer as soon as they can access it.
The Buyer must check their contact details and contact the Company if the confirmation email is not received.
7. Prices and payment terms
7.1 Prices: Product prices are shown in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT and other applicable taxes). They do not include delivery costs, which are shown before the order is confirmed. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order.
The Company may offer promotions or discounts at its discretion.
7.2 Payment terms: Payment is due in full when ordering. Payment is made online by bank card through a secure service, or by any other method offered on the Site. The Buyer guarantees that they are authorised to use the chosen payment method. The Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel an order in the event of an incident or attempted fraud.
7.3 Invoicing: An invoice is sent to the Buyer by any appropriate means.
7.4 Retention of title: The Company retains ownership of the Products sold until full payment of the price, including delivery.
7.5 Promotional codes and vouchers: Promotional codes, gift cards and discount vouchers cannot be combined unless otherwise stated. Only one promotion/code per order unless specifically stated.
8. Delivery
8.1 Territory: For each Product, the Site indicates the countries or territories to which delivery is possible. Delivery can only be made to the address given by the Buyer within the accepted territories.
8.2 Methods and times: Depending on the Product categories, weight or volume, different delivery methods may be offered. Before confirming, the Buyer is informed of the methods, times and corresponding costs.
8.3 Collection on site: Where applicable, the Buyer may collect their order from the Company's premises, following the instructions provided, and must respect the agreed collection times.
8.4 Delivery times: Delivery is made within the time stated in the confirmation email. If delivery does not take place within this time and after a formal notice that remains unanswered, the Buyer may terminate the contract in writing. In the event of termination, the Buyer will be refunded the sums paid, including delivery costs, within a maximum of 14 days.
9. Right of withdrawal
9.1 Period and exercise
The consumer Buyer has 14 days from receipt of the Products to withdraw, without having to give any reason. Where the order includes several Products delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last Product.
To exercise this right, the Buyer informs the Company of their decision before the period expires, by an unambiguous statement: using the online form (cani-ninja.com/pages/exercer-votre-droit-de-retractation), by email to contact@cani-ninja.com or by post to the address given in Article 2. The Buyer may use the model form in the appendix, but this is not mandatory.
9.2 Returning the Products
The Buyer returns the Products no later than 14 days after communicating their decision to withdraw. The direct costs of returning them are borne by the Buyer.
To check the size of an item, the Buyer may try it on their dog. We recommend doing so indoors, on a clean coat, possibly with a thin T-shirt between the item and the fur, and keeping the labels and packaging.
The Buyer may only be held liable for any loss in value of the Products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and proper functioning (outdoor use, washing, damage). In that case, compensation corresponding to the loss in value may be deducted from the refund; the Buyer is informed of this, with photos as evidence.
9.3 Refund
The Company refunds all sums paid, including the initial delivery costs (based on the cheapest standard delivery method), no later than 14 days after being informed of the decision to withdraw. It may withhold the refund until it has received the Products or until the Buyer has provided proof of having sent them, whichever is earlier. If only part of an order is returned, the initial delivery costs are not refunded.
The refund is made using the same payment method as the one used for the order, at no cost to the Buyer.
9.4 Exceptions
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- sealed Products that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons;
- Products made to the Buyer's specifications or clearly personalised;
- Products likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
10. Legal guarantees
Products sold on the Site benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). To make use of them, contact us at contact@cani-ninja.com, stating your order number and the nature of the defect, with a photo if possible. Return costs for a non-conforming product are borne by us.
The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to claim under the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only has to prove the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.
Where the sales contract provides for the continuous supply of digital content or a digital service for more than two years, the legal guarantee applies to that digital content or service throughout the planned supply period. During this period, the consumer only has to prove the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or service, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity requires the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates needed to keep the goods in conformity.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer requests a repair but the seller imposes a replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for two years from the date of replacement.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund in exchange for returning the goods, if:
1° The professional refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° The repair or replacement takes place after thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer permanently bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the costs of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4° The lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring the goods into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. In that case, the consumer does not have to request repair or replacement first.
The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are immobilised for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the goods are returned in working order.
The rights mentioned above result from Articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who obstructs the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in bad faith is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (Article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund in exchange for returning the goods.
11. Buyer's obligations
The Buyer is solely responsible for the use they make of the Products and must check that the Products meet their needs before purchase. The Buyer is responsible for keeping their Personal Area information safe and for taking the necessary measures to protect their data and software.
12. Company's liability
12.1 The Company strives to keep the Site accessible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. It is not liable for access difficulties due to external causes, force majeure or network disruptions.
12.2 The Company does not guarantee that the Products are suited to the Buyer's specific needs, unless expressly stated otherwise.
12.3 It cannot be held liable for non-performance or late performance of a contract due to force majeure (exceptional weather, natural disasters, strikes, network failures, computer viruses, regulatory obligations, etc.).
12.4 The Buyer acknowledges having read the instructions for use of the Products and must follow them (e.g. storage, specified use). The Company cannot be held liable if they are not followed.
12.5 In all cases, the Company's liability is expressly limited to proven direct damage suffered by the Buyer, and excludes any indirect or immaterial damage.
13. Intellectual property
The content of the Site (texts, images, visuals, logos, trademarks, databases, software, structure) is protected by intellectual property rights and/or database producers' rights. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or use without express authorisation is prohibited and may give rise to legal action.
14. Personal data
The Company applies the personal data protection policy described in the Site's "Privacy Policy". The Buyer is invited to read it.
15. Advertising
The Company reserves the right to include advertising or promotional messages on any page of the Site and in any communication to Buyers, in the manner it deems appropriate.
16. Third-party links and websites
The Site may contain links to external websites. The Company is not responsible for their availability, content, advertising or for transactions between the Buyer and a third party.
17. Prohibited conduct
17.1 The following are prohibited:
any conduct that disrupts, interrupts or slows down the proper operation of the Site;
any intrusion or attempted intrusion into the Company's systems;
any misuse of the Site's resources;
any breach of security or authentication measures;
any act that harms the rights or interests of the Company or of users;
any unauthorised commercial use of the Products purchased (resale or distribution for consideration) without the Company's written consent.
17.2 In the event of a breach, the Company reserves the right to take any appropriate measures and to take legal action.
18. Account deletion
The Buyer may request the deletion of their account at any time by sending an email to the Company's contact address. Deletion takes effect within a maximum of 7 working days and results in the automatic deletion of the account.
19. Changes to the Terms of Sale
The Company may change these Terms of Sale at any time. The applicable terms are those in force on the date of the Buyer's order.
20. Language
Where these Terms of Sale are translated into one or more languages, the French version shall prevail for interpretation in the event of any conflict.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. If you live in another European Union country, you retain the protection of the mandatory rules of your country.
In the event of a problem, please first contact our customer service by email at contact@cani-ninja.com or by post to the address given in Article 2. We undertake to reply quickly.
